Keno Strategies

| Category: Gambling | January 12th, 2012
Keno is a game that is very similar to the lottery. Many people take this idea and think that there are not strategies that can be put together for the game but there are a few things that you should remember to help you win.
When you play you have to choose numbers from 1 to 15 and somethimes 20. how do you choose the amount if numbers you want to choose. I would recomend that you stay away from betting with more than 10 numbers because the odds of you winning are so slim that you will never win even if you bet ever game for your wntire life. When you play keno try and choose less numbers, but not so little that you end up having the same slim chances as with the 20 numbers. Aim for the middle if you can pick 15 choose 7. This way the odds are the best for you and the cost to play and win a big prize are not so bad.
Remember that when you choose numbers your winnings depend on how many numbers you choose so if you choose 7 numbers betting $10.00 wont win you as big a prize as playing 20 numbers. Then again if you choose 20 numbers and only get 3 you will not win as much if you chose 7 numbers and still got 3. with the 20 numbers, 3 numbers is only 15% which dramatically lowers your winnings. 3 out of 7 chosen keno numbers is about 40% which will give you a much better winning.
For the person that just wants to play many games for fun and still feel the rush of the game with little money, you can play many games, choose 20 numbers, and bet $1.00. This is great because you give them $20.00, you play 20 keno games, which is always a lot of fun, and you may still win a lot of money if you chose the correct numbers.
Now the most important thing you have to remember is to pick up the rules for the casino you are playing in. The rules and payouts differ from casino to casino so you will want to check it out. So now that you have this under your belt go out and win for me.

Play Keno

| Category: Gambling | December 22nd, 2011
Keno is one of the most-often overlooked of all the casino games.  But this bingo-lottery type game of a pure luck is simple and easy to learn.  The main goal is for a player to pick the right numbers. Similar to lottery in that you choose the numbers you want and resembling bingo because the lucky numbers appear on a screen one by one.
The rules are simple.  There are 80 numbers to choose from, a player must always pick the numbers – unlike lottery – and can select any amount he or she would like to.  The minimum number is 1 and the maximum amount of numbers that can be chosen is 20.
Your payout depends on the bet placed and the amount of numbers chosen.  The lure of Keno is the potential to win a lot of money for a very little initial monetary risk.  The game has ancient Asian origins that date back over two thousand years.
The basic strategy is this: the less numbers chosen, the more numbers matched; the higher the payout. Keno online is great for lottery fans who don’t want to wait days for the results to come in.  The rules are simple, the potential to win is great and this all adds up to a perfect choice for a beginner player looking for a luck-based game. Keno, along with bingo and lottery, are considered random number games.  These, with the exception of slot machines, are the most popular luck games in the world today.  Many people believe that keno players are a little touched in the head since the odds of the game are some of the lowest of all the casino games.  But, like slot machines, the lure of keno stems from the opportunity to receive a huge return from a relatively small wager.
Keno is a great way for lottery players to experience the rush of betting on their luck any time of the day or night, from the comfort of their personal computer.

The Poker Face

| Category: Gambling | November 16th, 2011
Winning at poker can be a tricky achievement that requires a combination of different skills: not only must you fully understand the rules of the game, and have a little luck on your side, but you must also develop a strong poker face to stop other players taking advantage of you. A good poker face is simply one that is devoid of emotion; by keeping your facial features straight and settled, nobody else will be able to guess what cards you’re holding.
Here are a couple of examples that show why a good poker face is so important when playing. Imagine you have just been dealt a fantastic hand; you accidentally reveal this by smiling or grinning to yourself. The other players will immediately guess the kind of cards you’ve got, and will probably fold. On the other hand, if you’re dealt a hand and you look upset or angry, others may guess that you’ve been dealt poor cards and start raising the bets accordingly.
Keeping a neutral expression on your face throughout the game of poker involves a long and hard internal struggle. If you let your true feelings slip, even for a second, you can be sure that others will notice. The key to success is to keep concentrating on your expression while you play; in the end, it will become second nature.
Once you’ve trained your face to conceal your true emotions, you can start to have a little fun and mislead the other players into parting with their cash. You can do this by making expressions that are actually the opposite of how you are really feeling. For instance, if you get dealt a spectacular hand, and you want to convince the other players otherwise and so get them to carry on playing, you can present an angry, frustrated or sad expression to misinform them. They’ll think you have a poor hand, and will subsequently carry on betting.
The best type of practice for a good poker face is to try out your expressions in front of a mirror. Getting to grips with presenting a misleading face can be a little tricky at first; if you’re feeling really excited, keeping your face sad can be a hard thing to do. If the other players do end up getting taken in by your false expression, you will also have to resist the urge to grin at your own cunning.

Play Poker Online

| Category: Gambling | October 26th, 2011
There are certainly differences between face to face poker, and online play. And if your poker game relies on the advantages that can only be found in a casino or home game setting, online play might not be for you. But, if you can hold your own at an internet card room, you’ll find that now is a very good time to be playing poker online.
With the number of poker rooms growing almost daily, there is a lot of competition for players. And the number one weapon in that competition is money. Players can find the online poker rooms giving away free money in a variety of ways.
The first, and most obvious is in the No Deposit Bonus. This is free money that an online poker rooms give new players to use at their tables. The players do not need to make any deposits into an account to receive the bonus. It is a great way for players who want to test out the waters of internet poker to get their feet wet. You can spend time at the real money tables, on the house.
The second way to receive extra money from the poker rooms online is through a deposit bonus. These are commonly offered to both new players in the form of a welcome bonus, and to players that have played at the room before via reload bonuses. A percentage of a player’s deposit is matched by the poker room with bonus money. As a player spends time at the poker tables, that bonus money is converted into cash that can be withdrawn.
The amount of bonus money you can collect, and how fast it turns into cash vary greatly from room to room. But, there is enough bonus money out there that you can spend every hand you play in a ring game working off a bonus.

Online Gambling

| Category: Gambling | August 10th, 2011
First let me qualify myself as an ordinary poker player. I am not an attorney, justice department official, nor a Supreme Court Justice. I am not giving legal advice nor will I draw any conclusions.
Several recent events in congress has brought attention to the legal standing of online wagering in general. The first thing to understand is the skill game of poker is not the same as sports betting nor even “random chance” casino games like craps and roulette. It may be treated the same eventually, or it may not. Legal precedent for a lot of this simply does not exist. As of this article, no person has been charged, brought to trial, convicted, or sentenced for playing online poker. But this does not guarantee that if will not happen in the future.

Offline Gambling

| Category: Gambling | July 12th, 2011
Over the past twenty plus years internet technology has developed and attracted millions. It has transformed the way people live. The way people consume products or services has changed drastically. People want instant information and service and by extension, people demand instant cash. In cyberspace a gambler can have easy access to online gaming. Online gaming plays like a real casino but instead of interacting with a dealer at a table you use a web-based software instead.
Apparently the lack of atmosphere or ambience when gambling on the Net was cited in a study as one of the most important aspects of offline gambling that is missing online. The online games on the internet try to imitate the real deal by featuring graphics and text animation. Even including verbal interaction.
With every mouse click, the program gives a corresponding sound like coins in a slot machine. The software-dealer starts talking if there are no action or commands given. Despite all of this though, the atmosphere of a casino hasn’t been recreated.
The adrenalin rush in a real casino cannot be recreated online either. Playing at home, an online gambler is playing alone and no amount of tinkering in the program can create an atmosphere. The lack of atmosphere prevents a person from gambling with friends.
The live casino has been associated with a socializing ambience and a lot of gamblers feel an attachment to the environment.
